The internet has a large number websites which focus on irritable bowel syndrome, many offering information and ideas which will be of real help to people suffering from IBS.

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has recognised hypnotherapy as a psychological intervenion for IBS. The Therapy Partnership blog includes a report on the guidelines (click HERE) and the advice on therapy for patients not responding to drug treatment after a year.
