When it comes to the physical and psychological indication of stress there is no single or defining symptom.  Stress can manifest itself in so many different ways. The danger signals for one person can be completely different in someone else.
On this page are two lists of some of the most common symptoms – physical and psychological.

However it is important to bear in mind some of the tell-tale signs listed below can also indicate quite different health problems. So do not be reluctant, embarrassed or afraid to consult your own doctor for a proper diagnosis.
